Stenopterygius quadriscissus from the early Jurassic (Toarcian).
Exceptionally well-preserved 180 million-year-old Ichthyosaur skeleton from the Posidonia Shale of Holzmaden (South Germany). The specimen originates from a Private German collection.
The size of the skeleton is 3,07 cm long around the curve, from the tip of the tail to the end of the snoot.
Condition : Very pristine. Perfectly prepared. Not composited ! Still in the original matrix. There is no restoration, only filling cracks.
